When I woke up this morning I felt a little blahhh so I wanted a little pick-me-up in terms of make-up. I’ve had a couple of products from my London haul that I had never touched before and so I thought today would be the perfect occasion. Even though I had nowhere special to go except for work, I whipped out my most luxurious products and went all out.
For my base I obviously chose the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation in number 4. I cannot believe I finally own this, as it’s nowhere to be found in my hometown, but I came across it in Stockholm and just had to go for it right away. It’s quite price-y but I had been saving up for this and knew I would love it so I think it’s justifiable. One pump gives me a light coverage, but today I went for two pumps to create a wonderfully even complexion. And may I just say: I LOVE the finish! It’s not too matte but definitely also not on the shiny side, it stays on for hours and isn’t as heavily scented as my Dior BB cream. Absolute winner, but I’ll dedicate this babe a full review coming soon!
Any pesky spots were – as usual – covered up with the NARS Creamy Concealer in Vanilla and then everything was set with my MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder.
For brows I went with my MAC eyebrow pencil in Fling and a good contour was done with the Sleek Contour Kit in Light. As you can tell I went a little heavy-handed into my Bobbi Brown Peony blusher, but I didn’t mind it too much. I did a bit of an eyeliner with the Maybelline Master Precise liner and gave my lashes two good coats of MAC’s In Extreme Dimension mascara.
To finish off I applied NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil for the first time in the shade Red Square and am really impressed with it! It’s easy to apply, doesn’t dry out my lips and stays on very well. I will also post a review on this if you’re interested?
