Today’s Four

1. I’ve put together a little collage of my day thus far. I recently got these Birkenstock look-a-likes from H&M that I actually much prefer to the original ones. They’re a bit slimmer so they don’t make my feet look humongous and for a fraction of the price it doesn’t matter whether I actually try out the trend or decide it’s not really my cup of tea. These orange mirrored sunglasses that I got last year proved to be a great investment. They just spice up any outfit and guarantee some stares in the streets.

2. Why reserve fresh sheets for the weekends? I love making the middle of the week a little more exciting by changing sheets. I have to admit though, this has only become a habit during the vacation as I usually don’t have enough time to do this during the week on regular days.

3. After applying my make-up this morning I got a bit silly and pulled some faces, trust me you don’t want to see the rest of these haha! Anyway, this goes to you lovely folks who actually read the stuff that I post.

4. Now that I have a bit more time on my hands I actually prefer waking up a little earlier than the rest of the house so I can have a few minutes to myself, reading, drinking tea and snacking on some delicious fruit, like these wild peaches. I’ve mentioned The Fault in Our Stars before but it’s just too good to not make another appearance on here.

What’s your summer weekly routine? Any more books I should give a go?

  1. I’d actually love your silly selfies, it’s so cute and super purrdy! I don’t actually dare to read the fault in our stars due to fear of heavy tearing haha. My favourite book thus far is the Blue Blood Novels by Melissa De La Cruz – don’t know if you heard of her. It’s sorta fantasy-ish thing. I loved it! πŸ™‚ So check that out if you haven’t!

    Great post! as always πŸ˜‰

    Emma xx

    • Ohhh Emma you HAVE to read it! But trust me I was one weeping mess after finishing it. Still, if not for the story, read it for the writing. Fell utterly in love with John Green’s play with words. I’ll check out Blue Blood Novels too! Xx

  2. The Fault in Our Stars is one of my all time favorite books. But I don’t know if I could read it a second time because I just cried my eyes out so bad πŸ˜€
I’m thinking about getting some Birkenstocks, we have a little outlet store here so I think I’m going to have a look πŸ™‚

    • Thank you for checking out my blog πŸ™‚ I know, I was bawling my eyes out every single time I read it. But I just fell in love with the writing so much. You should! They’re so comfy. I just got a pair of cheap H&M ones as I didn’t want to fully commit to the trend, but I might just invent in the real deal soon πŸ™‚ Xx
