What to do when you’re done school and the weather at home isn’t really coping? Right, you put two and two together and book a vacation. Canaries here we come!
Below I put together a list of what, in my books, clothing-wise is essential for a summer vacation. Other than that pack some good books, sunscreen and your address book for writing postcards!
1: Mango / 2: Zara / 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 14: Topshop / 4: Brasi&Brasi / 8: Missoni / 9: VIX / 11: H&M / 13: Current/Elliott / 15: Ted Baker
I don’t really know under which rock I was living, but it certainly has to be one that’s been ignoring my latest girl crush for way too long.
I seriously don’t know how this could happen but I just recently came across Columbine Smilles blog and since then have been utterly obsessed with her. Not only is she beyond gorgeous, but most of all I adore her style. She dresses elegant yet casual – wearing simple tees, sneakers or track pants but always with a feminine twist.
From April 19th until May 5th she teamed up with Topshop to pick out her favourite pieces (that unfortunately were on display in Topshop Stockholm only). And I must say, I would’ve bought almost every single item! I love the white hidden wedge sneakers, the sequins skirt and the draipy trench.
I wanna know – who’s your current girl crush/style icon?
Excuse the lack of posts within the last two months but apart from studying for my final exams there wasn’t much energy I had left. But, as I finished all my exams just yesterday I’m back on track, yayy!
First of, I wanted to introduce you to an amazing creative duo whose website I stumbled upon quite a while ago but had completely forgotten about.
Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg invented the idea of “cinemagraphs” – an interesting combination of photography and visual graphics. Beck’s photographs become ‘alive’ by the animation of certain elements, for which Burg is responsible. As Coco Rocha said “it’s more than a photo but not quite a video”.
I felt completely intrigued by this new take on photography as it is so unusual and unexpected.
I definitely recommend you check out their website and take a couple of minutes to get sucked into the little details.
